What is Warwick Forest?
Warwick Forest Retirement Community is a resort-style continuing care retirement community located on 40 beautifully landscaped acres in Newport News, VA, near historic Yorktown, Williamsburg, and Virginia Beach. Also about a five minute drive to the NN/Wmbg airport.
Warwick Forest is a full continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, memory support, rehabilitation, and health care all on the same campus. We have something for everyone and guarantee priority access to care if your health care needs change in the future. You will receive significant discounts off future health care and tax deductions can be claimed as a prepaid medical expense.
Our independent living offers apartments and cottages ranging up to almost 1,600 sq ft. with one- and two-bedroom floor plans available. You pay a one-time entrance fee when joining the community (there are several ways to delay paying this until your home sells) and a monthly fee which includes food, utilities, activities, housekeeping, security, transportation, maintenance, priority access to health care on campus, etc. Warwick Forest Commons has six dining venues, a 36-seat home theater, sparkling saltwater pool, wellness and fitness center, hobby shop, and several common areas for you to use. It's like a cruise ship on land.
Warwick Forest is sponsored by Riverside Health System, which is one of the largest health care providers in Southeastern Virginia with 5 hospitals and over 350 physicians in the Riverside Medical Group. We are very fortunate to benefit from their stellar credit rating and financial security during these tough economic times. Riverside’s support is another reason why we continue to pride ourselves as being the most economical option around.
Ask your marketing counselor about how Warwick Forest will guarantee the sale of your home and give you up to four years to pay your entrance fee. Trial rental options are also available. Entrance fees can be refunded up to 50% or 90% depending on the plan you choose.
